I take inspiration wherever I can get it. Today it was to be found after driving home from work in the snow,in the parking lot of the local country club, where I sat in my car for half an hour, writing a break-through scene for the Probe project whilst waiting for my sons to finish shoveling out the driveway a couple blocks away. In a few hours the kids will be in bed, and the muse will be ready to come out for a romp. I foresee large amounts of progress tonight...

Three words: I fell asleep.

Alas, after the gang was tucked in and the house put in order, I sat down to the computer and pretty much passed out on the keyboard. Came to and went to bed.

Thanks for the feedback. I did manage to plot out some more chapters and I wrote rough dialogues, so I should be able to get a lot accomplished tonight. Ha, if I can stay awake long enough to do it!

To return to an earlier conversation, you asked if I had any ideas for topics Austin and Mickey could tackle...well, I'd still like to see your take on the ending of "Untouched by Human Hands." Other than that, I have no other ideas.

I cranked out a wonderful little ficlet last night witch features the discussed conversation, but I found it works better prior to Mickey and Austin actually dating, so it's an independent piece set a few weeks prior to "If You Could See."

Right now, I'm figuring out how to end it, and then I'll do a couple re-reads and some polishing. All in all, it should be ready for posting about, oh, a week from today, I think. *winks*
