1 Anniversary Date and 1 Exciting Brainstorm
Today I had a date. Husband and I celebrated 12 years of wedded bliss at a Thai restaurant, shoeless, in a booth with embroidered, cushioned matts, and ate curry with chopsticks. My idea of fun is, well, undoubtedly exotic travel. Given certain logistical constraints (money, offspring, a job, etc.) which make exotic travel impossible, I will settle for exotic dining.
Today I also had an exciting brainstorm. There is a new Probe fanfic attempting to burst forth from my brain into spendid realization...as soon as I have a few hours to spend with it. I'm off work starting tomorrow at 3 until Tuesday, so I absolutely intend to get this project going in haste. It's going to be a riot. Starts where Aftermath left off. Will require a bit of research into a certain medical condition and possibly a little psychiatry, but with my healthcare background, I think I can do this. So far I have 2 pages of pen-on-paper, but I can't wait to polish it in Word.
In the meantime...5 a.m. comes early...

I think the new Probe piece is going to be fairly substantial. It has 2 dovetailed plotlines, one of which makes me giggle a lot. To get in the right mood, I watched "Now You See It" last night and I did some fairly heavy re-editing of my fanfic chapter called "The Other Side of the Line" today. If all goes well, this could be a really satisfying read. I'm trying to drum up some interest again on the Probe YahooGroups site, but only Ginger seems to be checking in right now.
